Please take a moment to review these rules detailed below.

This forum is for HP Customers and Employees only. By registering you confirm that you fit into one of these categories. In addition you confirm that you have your own access to the Mercury/HP Support website including the Discussion Forums and KB. This is a requirement. If you do not have a support account in your own name you do not qualify for TDForums membership.

Please remember that we are not responsible for any messages posted. We do not vouch for or warrant the accuracy, completeness or usefulness of any message, and are not responsible for the contents of any message.

The messages express the views of the author of the message, not necessarily the views of this Forum. Any user who feels that a posted message is objectionable is encouraged to contact us immediately by email. We have the ability to remove objectionable messages and we will make every effort to do so, within a reasonable time frame, if we determine that removal is necessary.

You agree, through your use of this service, that you will not use this Forum to post any material which is knowingly false and/or defamatory, inaccurate, abusive, vulgar, hateful, harassing, obscene, profane, sexually oriented, threatening, invasive of a person's privacy, or otherwise violative of any law.

You agree not to post any copyrighted material unless the copyright is owned by you or by this Forum.

TDForums is not intended to be the first line of support for anyone. Please do not post new topics on TDForums until you have exhausted your internal resources and the HP provided support options. That means please visit the product manuals, Support site Forums/KB's and the Service Request system. This is a community and we all help out of goodwill. Please be respectful and do not take the help of others for granted. If you are helped by the content or other members please return the favor at a later date by offering help yourself.

No discussions on product pricing in any of the forums.

No pre-sales questions for any products or services.

No questions or discussions regarding passwords of any kind.

Do not request that any member send you a file or otherwise by email by posting in any of the forums.

No discussion regarding licenses e.g. "Where is the license stored?", "How can I retrieve the QC license file?" or "Why aren't my OTA connections using a license?". This includes any topic on renewals and extensions. Please see your sales rep or HP Support.

Please do not contact or solicit help from any of the members through any of the messaging (PM system) on this board unless help is expressly offered. Members soliciting help or contacting other members via PM or email will be suspended without warning or explanation. Questions are best asked in the forums where other members can benefit.

No use of "txt speak" e.g. "pls" instead of "please", "ur" instead of "you're" etc etc. I'm very strict on this point.

Members soliciting or attempting to sell anything to anyone anywhere on this board will be flogged and publicly ridiculed. Caricatures of their family will be animated and put to offensive music like Barry Manilow or David Hasselhof and distributed on the Internet. (In most cases your account and the accounts of your coworkers will be suspended and your domain banned)

Member accounts may not be shared. Shared accounts will be removed and the users and domains will be blocked.

Arguing or questioning moderator actions in forum posts is prohibited. Any questions and or comments regarding forum moderation should be directed to the moderator using the Personal Message system only.

Redistribution of content to non members is not permitted.

TDForums reserves the right to modify these terms at anytime. Memberships are at the sole discretion of the TDForums administration and may be terminated without notice. In some cases where violations of the rules are severe multiple accounts may be suspended or entire domains banned.
